The elective "Reinsurance Techniques and Strategies" will provide a comprehensive overview of the techniques,
strategies, and market dynamics that shape the reinsurance industry. The course will cover reinsurance techniques
including alternative risk transfer, demonstrating how they are used to manage volatility, optimize capital, and address
new / emerging risks such as climate change and cyber. The course aims to equip future insurance professionals with
the skills to understand the critical role of reinsurance in risk mitigation and portfolio management within the global
insurance industry.
