Urban Center, innovation hub
MIB Trieste School of Management is one of the Partners of Urban Center, the new incubator of research and innovation activities in the heart of Trieste.
Inaugurated in March 2021, the new space aims to combine Trieste's scientific vocation with the economy and businesses, with particular attention to the Innovation and Bio-HighTech sectors.
The project was born from the initiative of Bio4Dreams, leader of the Temporary Grouping of Companies (RTI) composed of Biovalley Investments, Polo Tecnologico Alto Adriatico and RnBGate, which then was able to involve almost 40 partners, eager to create synergy and shape new projects for the development of innovative entrepreneurship in the HighTech, BioHighTech - in particular biotechnology, biomedical and bioinformatics - and health sectors. This process aims to extend to the entire urban context by actively involving citizens: spaces open to all have also been provided, capable of stimulating knowledge, dialogue, exchange and contamination of cultures.
