The main focus of the course is to better know the business area of Central and Eastern Europe in order to encourage our future managers and entrepreneurs to seriously analyze the chances that they have at their disposal to increase their professional interaction with those markets. At the end of the course the participants will have a better knowledge of Central and Eastern European Geopolitical and Business area. The course is particularly useful for young and active managers, who wish to explore new business opportunities in that area.

- the world after 1989: the fall of Berlin Wall and the transition period in Central and Eastern Europe;
- the European integration process oriented towards the Central and Eastern Countries interests;
- the crisis after 2004 and the slowing down of the EU enlargement process;
- the role of Russia and the issue of energy supply;
- Eastern European emerging markets during the financial crisis and the covid 19;
- the impact of the conflict in Ukraine since 2022. The cases of Serbia and Belarus.
