The world in 2020 is facing an incredible challenge: the Covid-19 pandemic is overturning the global status quo and the world balance of powers will be probably redefined. The USA have just chosen their President in an unexpectedly tangled voting scenario, China is launching a new challenge for the economic leadership, the European Union is guaranteeing the financial support for the economic recovery and choosing a green transition.
But which is the role of Moscow and Putin?

How to guarantee the continuity of a public service, in the immediate, in an emergency situation? RAI, the national public Italian television service,  manages to make 12,000 collaborators work remotely, in even 2 weeks: an exceptional result, the complexity of production and the needs of the professional roles to be met. Particular and unexpected dynamics emerge: the level of commitment of individuals, the resilience of an organization much more agile than expected, the diversity of leadership relationships, the downsizing of the hierarchical structure with respect to values ​​such as trust and skills.

The Coronavirus has revolutionized the lives of billions of people in almost every country on the planet causing a major slowdown – or shutdown – of production and commercial processes in all sectors related to goods and services, which economic globalization is based on.
