2021 is a year of hope.

Will events over the next months see the arrival of a coordinated post-pandemic recovery and the relaunch of international cooperation?
International political and economic scenarios will be affected by the foreign policy choices of the new US administration, by how the European Union will be able to speak with a single voice and deliver on the ambitions of Next Generation EU, and by how China, Russia and Japan’s actions will reshape the Eurasian region.

Dialogue and competition, military power and diplomacy, green deals and economic growth, energy and international trade: the world is in dire need of a rekindled multilateral approach that in turn needs a widely shared consensus to preserve peace and foster prosperity.
The Italian Presidency of the G20 will offer Italy a chance to lead the international community along this path.

The event will also serve to launch the ISPI Report 2021.
