The first research report of MIB Trieste's DemoLab focused on Longevity Trends at a national level."There was a noticeable change in trend, although less significant than in other Western countries," explained Prof. Pitacco. "The expected increase in life has in fact suffered a significant slowdown since 2015-2016 and the expectations of longer life today have stopped".
This Paper Longevity Trends consists of two parts:
- The Italian scenario (with a look to foreign experiences)
- Changing trends in mortality: an international comparison using the Human Mortality Database.
