MIB Lens web workshops is proud to host the series “Deep Tech Stories”, that focuses on real business cases: companies founded on a scientific discovery or a disruptive technological innovation, aiming to achieve exponential results in new markets through the creative vision of their entrepreneurs.


The series “MIB Lens Deep Tech Stories” has been authored by Venture Factory, the number one deep-tech and technology transfer investor in Italy, and MIB partner on the EMBA IN program.  The entrepreneurs will be interviewed by the Venture Factory investors, so the perspectives that will emerge form the meetings will be absolutely hands on and genuine.

The first online meeting of MIB Lens Deep Tech Stories series focuses on an business case.
VRMedia is a company operating in the sectors of Virtual and Augmented Reality, developing innovative hardware/software products and solutions devoted to Companies and Research Centers. VRMedia products are commonly used in the Industrial sector, for technical personnel training and for advanced after sales services, as well as research activities and VR applications development by universities, hospitals, and research centers. VRMedia products are also used in the fields of Cultural Heritage and Entertainment.

Francesco Venier, member of the Core Faculty at MIB Trieste School of Management in the Strategy, Organization and Technology area, will briefly introduce our guests.

Nicola Redi

Nicola Redi brings 20+ years experience in translating innovations into the market through venture capital investments and corporate R&D responsibilities. He is currently managing the first ever technology transfer fund focused on Industry 4.0 technologies. His venture capital past appointments include Chief Investment & Technology Officer of TTVenture and member of the investment committees of the French lifescience fund Technologie et Santé I (Sofimac Partners) and Atmos II renewable energy fund.
Nicola also created and was appointed CEO of SeedLab, the first accelerator program for research based projects and companies.
He is a member of the Adjunct Faculty of MIB Trieste School of Management (New Product Developmet and Business Planning for new venture Start-up courses).
