Short Bio
INSURANCE, RISK MANAGEMENT & DATA SCIENCE
Leonardo Felician has held senior leadership roles as CEO of major Italian insurance companies, including Genertel, Genialloyd, and Berebel, and he was the founder of Direct Insurance in Italy. Focused on profitable growth and high-quality customer service, he is a constant innovator and disruptive thinker. He has authored numerous articles and textbooks on insurance and IT, and he is a frequent keynote speaker at international conferences as well as a long-standing professor at several Italian universities (Trieste, Udine, Pisa, Milan Cattolica, LIUC Castellanza).
In the current academic year, he teaches Insurance Management at BBS – Bologna Business School; Data-Driven Decision Making at H-Farm College in Venice; No-Code Programming at Albert School in Milan; and Big Data and Generative AI for Productivity and Research at Scuola Superiore in Udine.
As a member of the MIB core faculty, he has been teaching Data Analytics for Finance and Insurance Management at MIB Trieste School of Management for several years.
