FINANCE
Massimiliano Kaucic is an Associate Professor of Mathematical Methods for Economy, Finance, and Actuarial Sciences at the University of Trieste. He is also part of the adjunct faculty at the MIB Trieste School of Management and serves as the Coordinator of the Laboratory of Soft Computing for Finance and Insurance (SOFI Lab) at the University of Trieste.
His research interests include quantitative methods for sustainable investing, risk assessment, and the development of automated decision support systems based on machine learning. He has published in several peer-reviewed journals, including Information Sciences, Computers and Operations Research, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Global Optimization, and Computational Management Science.
Massimiliano is a co-founder of YourValue Finance, an academic spin-off established through the collaboration between academic and professional sectors, aiming to translate research into tangible services for businesses via specialized consulting.
