The Master in Insurance & Risk Management offers the highest level of flexibility and it is available in-person or online, full-time or part-time.
Thanks to the hybrid formula students can opt to participate on campus or online, according to their business or personal schedule.
Moreover, participants can complete the Master degree at their own pace (1 year or 2 years) and customize their curriculum line-up.
 

The Master in Insurance & Risk Management combines technical expertise with general management training (roughly 1/3 of the program) and personal development: a strong blend of skills, essential to aspiring leaders.

MIRM approach is concrete and business oriented: participants develop technical skills, a managerial approach and leadership strategies. Participants are trained as well-rounded managers with specific skills and high emotional intelligence, equipped take part in international teams.

PROGRAM

The Curriculum includes Core Courses, Elective Courses, Leadership Dynamics & Accountability Track, and the final thesis.

1 year or 2 years?

The Master in Insurance & Risk Management is designed to let you earn your degree at your own pace.
You can choose to go faster or slower according to your professional and personal lifestyle.

You can choose the intense full-time 12-month curriculum (with only 8 months of expected attendance in-person or online) or complete your degree part-time in 2 years.

The part-time sessions, like the full-time ones, take place mainly from Monday to Friday, but you can plan your MIRM calendar in advance and organize it over 2 years to reduce the impact on your job.

The part-time MIRM can be attended in-person or online.

Part-time participants

Part-time option is designed for busy working professionals looking for an international and accredited Master Program to enhance their CV and career path.
The maximum flexibility of the program allows a complete customization of the curriculum, which can be optimized thanks to  the support of the MIRM Program Manager.

The Master in Insurance & Risk Management is a Double-degree Master’s Program, offered in partnership with the University of Trieste.
After successfully completing the program, graduates will receive the Diploma from MIB Trieste School of Management as well as the Diploma from the University of Trieste, recognized by the Italian Ministry of University & Research and officially recognized at an academic level in Italy and abroad.

MIB Trieste School of Management along with nine companies come together to sponsor participants by rewarding the talent of top candidates. Each year, partial (up to 70%) and full Scholarships are awarded to deserving participants of different nationalities.

What are the characteristics to be considered for a waiver?
A good CV, international exposure, a quality motivational letter, selection test results and the personal interview.

In-person or Online?

Attending the Master in-person on campus is the most immersive and rich learning experience the School offers. Students can connect with their peers, professors and alumni, build meaningful relationships, make the most of professional networking opportunities, and reinforce their soft skills.

You will become part of a community of like-minded individuals who share your same passion and motivation. This choice also allows you to fully experience the Italian quality of life in Trieste, a wonderful and cosmopolitan city.

Alternatively, if, as a busy professional, taking time off work to attend in-person is impossible, our hybrid formula offers a flexible and convenient alternative.
You can attend your Master class online live, joining an immersive and interactive class. The online version of the program is conducted live and in real-time, concurrently with the in-person sessions.
Our hybrid option offers the same top-quality education as on campus program, and our hybrid theatres ensure a perfect interaction and a free-flowing conversation between people in the classroom and students online.

However, you can attend up to 30% of the sessions on-demand (recorded) at the time most convenient for you.
