The third online meeting of MIB Lens series focuses on an interview that our Tim Baxter, Core Faculty member in the Leadership Dynamics area of the School, will lead with a MIB Alumnus and entrepreneur.Franco Leoni, MBA Alumnus of the School - Class of 1997, is an entrepreneur who has been working closely with China for years. He is a witness of the pandemic birth and of the social, cultural and economic reaction in the Asian country closely.
Today Franco has converted his activities in Italy in the production of masks.
What is the impact that Coronavirus is having on the business, from an entrepreneur's point of view?
The floor to Franco, in an interview that will reveal unexpected aspects, impossible bureaucracies, last minute urgencies, but also solidarity and new ways of thinking and doing business.

Franco Leoni
Franco Leoni, degree in theoretical mathematics, got his MBA in International Business at MIB Trieste in 1998. He is founder and General Manager of Polonord Adeste.
The company was co-founded in 1999 with a Franco's university friend, Fabio Zalambani. Born in Fabio’s house as multimedia agency, it expanded into the fields of optical media (CDs and DVDs) in 2002, USB flash drives in 2007 and earphones in 2014 with his own brand LolaChat. It is the only Italian company to manufacture USB memory in Italy, selling to European promotional and industry sectors. Franco oversees the company’s administrative and commercial development.
In turn, Polonord Adeste owns the company Polonord Adeste Asia Pacific LTD Hong Kong, of which Franco is President.
