Marco Balzano is a Research Fellow in Management at the University of Trieste and Adjunct Faculty Member at the MIB School of Management, Trieste, Italy. He holds a Double PhD in Management from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, SKEMA Business School, and Université Côte d'Azur.
His primary research interests focus on business strategy and innovation management. His research has been published in several international journals, including Research Policy, California Management Review, and Technovation, among others. He also serves as Associate Editor for Journal of Small Business Management and Strategic Change.
