OPEN INNOVATION
Giovanni Tolin, PhD, is a Research Fellow in Innovation Management at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa (Italy) and an Affiliate Researcher at Open Innovation Lookout 2025 at Politecnico di Milano. His researchers deal with technology transfer tools, intermediaries, and governance.
He worked as a Project Manager in Technology Transfer for UniSMART – the University of Padova Foundation dealing with innovation projects between university and industry. He held a Visiting Researcher position at the Imperial College Business School, London.
He is Managing Partner of Lab11 Srl, an academic spin-off aimed at supporting organizations in their Open Innovation strategy. He collaborates with Nòva - il Sole 24 Ore as a freelance.
