The School welcomes two new cohorts for the 2024-2025 academic year, representing 31 different countries

MBA in International Business and Master in Insurance & Risk Management

This week marks the exciting beginning of two major programs at MIB Trieste School of Management: the MBA in International Business (MIRM) and the Master in Insurance & Risk Management. Both programs kicked off with students arriving at our campus, ready to embark on transformative educational journeys that will shape their future careers.

The Master in Insurance & Risk Management class of 2025 welcomes nearly 50 new students, with 55% international participants hailing from 19 different countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Cameroon, China, Czech Republic, El Salvador, Germany/Ukraine, Ghana, Italy, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Romania, Rwanda, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, and Vietnam.
The cohort has an average age of 29 years and brings 4 years of professional experience in diverse fields such as finance, law, engineering, business administration, and actuarial science.

Similarly, the MBA in International Business cohort has welcomed members representing 18 countries, with 56% international students. These participants, with an average age of 34 and 9 years of professional experience, come from countries such as Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Egypt, Italy, Lebanon, Macedonia, Philippines, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, South Korea, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Both groups gathered at the MIB Trieste headquarters to begin their professional and personal development journeys. The first day started with welcoming remarks from the School’s leadership, including Dean Andrea Tracogna and Program Directors Federica Seganti (MIRM) and Tim Baxter and Guido Bortoluzzi (MBA).

Inaugural Leadership Development sessions were held, where participants engaged in team-based activities designed to foster collaboration and a strong sense of community. These activities set the tone for what will be an enriching and engaging experience over the coming months.
This first week has opened a new way of thinking, learning, and working together.
