On 16 October at 14:30, MIB Trieste School of Management will celebrate the Graduation Day of the 27th edition of the Master in Insurance & Risk Management.
The ceremony marks the completion of the MIRM journey for a highly international class of 29 participants, 62% of whom are international, representing 16 countries.
This international dimension is matched by a broad range of academic and professional backgrounds.
longside economics, finance, business administration and actuarial science, the class includes participants with experience in mathematics, medicine, engineering, political science and other disciplines.
This diversity is one of the distinctive features of the MIRM experience: bringing together different perspectives and areas of expertise.
The Master in Insurance & Risk Management is accredited by EFMD Global and ASFOR and ranks #5 worldwide in the 2025 Eduniversal ranking in its field.
Through MIB’s collaboration with the University of Trieste, participants can also earn a Double Degree recognised in Italy and internationally.
The ceremony will be held entirely in English.

ELENA GOITINI
CEO, BNL & Head of BNP Paribas Group Italy
Born in Milan in 1969, she graduated in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan and enriched her academic background with Management Diplomas from INSEAD Paris, IMD Lausanne and SDA Bocconi.
She is an internationally certified coach (ICF) and holds a diploma from the Scuola Holden in Turin.
In 1993, she began her career at PwC, before joining the UniCredit Group, where she held various positions in Italy, Germany, Austria, Turkey and Poland. In 2005, she was appointed Head of CEE Retail & Private Banking.
She returned to Italy in 2013, where she held executive positions within the commercial bank, first in Bologna and then, in 2016, in Naples as Regional Manager for Southern Italy.
In 2019, she joined BNL as Head of the Private Banking and Wealth Management Division.
She is a member of the BNP Paribas Group G100, the BNP Paribas WM EXCO and the BNL Management Committee.
Since 28 April 2021, she has been Chief Executive Officer of BNL and Head of BNP Paribas for Italy, as well as a member of the BNP Paribas Executive Committee.
Since June 2021, she has been a member of the Board and Executive Committee of ABI. Since 19 October 2022, she has been a member of IIT – Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa. Since 23 November 2022, she has been a member of the Comex de la Fondation BNP Paribas. Since 22 June 2023, she has been a member of the Assonime Executive Council. Since 5 July 2023, she has been a member of the ABI Presidency Committee. From 13 October 2023 to 11 April 2025, she served as rotating President of the ELIS Consortium of companies. Since June 2024, she has been a Board Member of Fondazione Telethon. Since July 2024, she has been a member of the High Council of the SPES Academy Carlo Azeglio Ciampi. Since 23 September 2024, she has been a member of the Board of Trustees of IEP@BU. Since November 2024, she has been Chair of the ABI Technical Committee on Internationalisation and Geopolitical Trends. In October 2025, she received the “Alumna of the Year 2025” award from the Bocconi Alumni community.
