Innovation through partnership: RINA and MIB Trieste join forces

A strategic alliance: from people development to applied research

Partnership with RINA
MIB Trieste School of Management is pleased to announce the official launch of its strategic partnership with RINA.
The agreement, signed by Carlo Luzzatto (CEO, RINA) and Vladimir Nanut (CEO, MIB), brings together industrial technical excellence and high-level management education to address the challenges of the energy and digital transition.
What makes this partnership unique? This is more than a training initiative — it is a genuine synergy built on the complementarity of both organisations, with two core objectives:
  • People Development: Strengthening human capital through tailored executive programmes — including the Executive MBA in Business Innovation — with a focus on leadership, digital transformation and sustainability.
  • Frontier Innovation: Co-developing joint educational solutions across critical areas, from Advanced Materials to Artificial Intelligence.
Looking ahead, this collaboration will enable both institutions to:
  • Build a privileged Talent Pipeline, offering MIB's emerging talents structured career pathways within RINA's complex global ecosystem.
  • Transform managerial mindsets, fostering a culture of innovation and the kind of leadership needed to navigate the complexity of modern markets.
  • Advance applied research and knowledge sharing on topics such as maritime and port cybersecurity, infrastructure resilience and the blue economy.
As highlighted during recent operational meetings in Trieste, the shared ambition is to move beyond "Training" towards genuine "Learning" — making competence a true enabler of sustainable, long-term growth.
