For the ninth consecutive year, Assicurazioni Generali funds the "Sastre" Full Scholarship for the Master in Insurance & Risk Management, in memory of Diego Sastre García, MIRM alumnus who passed away prematurely.
The Scholarship continues his path by supporting a strong candidate in the next edition.
The Master in Insurance & Risk Management combines technical expertise in insurance, risk management, and business innovation with an advanced managerial perspective. The program holds EFMD and ASFOR accreditation and ranks 5th globally in the Eduniversal Ranking 2025-6.
The connection between MIB and Generali runs deep: Generali is a founding partner of MIB Trieste School of Management; Cristiano Borean, Group CFO, chairs the School's Board; the company sits on key committees, serves as main sponsor of the MIRM, contributes to teaching and research, and actively supports graduate recruitment.
The Scholarship covers 100% of tuition (28th edition, starting October 2026) and includes a paid 6-month Internship at Generali's Milan or Trieste offices, beginning mid-June 2027.
