The MIB Alumni Association is delighted to invite all associates and friends to the 2024 Alumni Reunion on September 21st in Venice, at the prestigious Palazzo delle Procuratie, graciously hosted by the Generali Group and The Human Safety Net.
There will also be a live-streaming option available.

This event provides an exceptional opportunity to engage with fellow alumni, business leaders, and notable guests.
As AI strategies, deep tech innovation, and geopolitical changes rapidly reshape our world, we will explore the innovative leadership required to harness these developments for business growth and to manage the resulting complexities.
 
Finally, all attendees are invited to join the Social Dinner in a charming Venetian square in the Dorsoduro district.

OPENING REMARKS
 

2:00 - 2:30 pm

Cristiano Borean, Chairman of MIB Trieste and CFO of Generali Group, and the Dean Andrea Tracogna will extend greetings on behalf of the School's Management and Team. Welcoming Alumni in such a special location is a significant moment for the entire MIB community.
Laura Prinzi, President of the Alumni Association, will conclude the Opening Remarks with an introduction to the event's program.
 

PANEL SESSION

The first part of the event features a panel of three speakers. This engaging session is designed to foster exchanges and encourage the sharing of ideas and experiences among participants.

Short Bio

Born in 1971, he graduated magna cum laude in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan. After many years in consultancy, he served as Director of the Innovability® Function at Enel Group from 2014 to July 2023. He founded Ars et Inventio (2003), a consultancy firm focused solely on innovation and creativity, supporting numerous companies in designing and launching innovative products and services that became popular worldwide. He has collaborated with companies such as Nokia, Telecom Italia, Vodafone, Poste Italiane, Eni, GDF, Edison, the P&G Fater and Fameccanica joint ventures, Unilever, RCS, Sole24Ore, BNP, Unicredit, and American Express.
He teaches Innovation Management at various universities and business schools in Italy and Spain. Additionally, he is the author of four poetry collections and a theatrical play performed in several theaters across Italy (Milan, Bologna, Taormina, and Syracuse).

ALUMNI ASSEMBLY

The Annual Assembly is a key body of the Alumni Association, consisting of its members. It approves the general guidelines for the Association's activities and the action plan proposed by the Board of Directors. This is an important moment for the Association, as alumni have the chance to meet, discuss the past year's activities, gather feedback, and propose new ideas and initiatives for the future. The assembly will last approximately one hour.

SOCIAL DINNER at Bakarò
 

7.30 pm
Join us for the Social Dinner at Bakarò, set in the beautiful Campo Santa Margherita, a charming Venetian square. Alumni are welcome to bring a companion. The cost is €50 per person, including drinks: one bottle of wine per four people, water, and coffee.

We will meet at Bakarò at 7:30 pm (map).

The Association's Board has organised two initiatives to continue the weekend together.

Reduced entrance fee for MIB Alumni and accompanying persons 9 €.

We will have the privilege of entering the "home" of Human Safety Net, the Generali Foundation created to develop the potential of people living in vulnerable conditions so that they can improve the living conditions of their families and communities.

The interactive exhibition "A World of Potential" makes visitors protagonists and conveys a message that is at the heart of The Human Safety Net's mission: the importance of being aware of one's own potential and the right we all have to express and develop it.

Wine in Venice: Itinerant Tasting

Tour starts from Piazza San Marco

Cost €35 per person. Accompanying persons are welcome, with no limit in the number. This activity will be confirmed upon reaching the minimum number of 25 participants.

Join us for "Itinerant Wine Tasting": a tour organized by wine professionals to explore the wine culture of the lagoon city. This walking tour will take you through Venice's calli, bridges, and sottoporteghi, as we uncover the place names associated with Malvasia.

The tour concludes at a traditional Venetian "bacaro" (tavern) with a guided tasting of three local wines, led by a professional sommelier. You'll also have the chance to sample typical Venetian "cicchetti."

The price per person is €35.00 and includes:
- A guided tour of the historic center (earphones available)
- A guided tasting of three local wines and "cicchetti" at a "bacaro," under the direction of a professional sommelier.
