The second edition of EMBAIN, the Executive MBA in Business Innovation of MIB Trieste School of Management, a unique programme in Europe that combines management, technology and science to innovate business models, has kicked off.
25 top-level participants from entrepreneurship, technology start-ups and research will take part in this 19-month adventure: a unique mix of managerial and scientific skills to train a new generation of manager-innovators.
This second edition of EMBAIN welcomes participants from Italy, South Africa, Slovenia, Austria e Germany, with high-level curricula in innovation, entrepreneurship, research and business management.
"With EMBAIN, we are facing a revolutionary paradigm in the MBA landscape," commented Francesco Venier, Director of the School's Executive Area. "Our course innovates the classic MBA model, as it welcomes a classroom made up half by scientists, who have become deep-tech entrepreneurs, and half by managers from established companies, who want to become drivers of innovation by acquiring entrepreneurial skills and mentality."
EMBAIN has also attracted the interest of AMBA (Association of MBAs), which presented it as one of the world's best practices during its last annual conference in Seville and projected Trieste and Friuli Venezia Giulia to the centre of international interest in the training of next-generation entrepreneurs and managers.
The previous edition of EMBAIN, which was attended by 26 managers and entrepreneurs, ended with the birth of 12 technology start-ups founded by the students, which together raised more than € 30 mln, demonstrating the programme's ability to generate innovation and concrete results.
