The MET 3 Project
Danieli & C. is one of the major players globally for the production of steel plants, a full-cycle supplier in the metals industry. Listed in the FTSE index of the Milan Stock Exchange, it is a multinational in constant change, partner of MIB Trieste for over 10 years.
In 2018, the President of the Danieli Group, Gianpietro Benedetti, was awarded an MBA Honoris Causa in the headquarters of MIB Trieste School of Management, on the occasion of the thirty anniversary of the School. The investment in higher management training that Danieli has been carrying out for years together with MIB is the reflection of an enlightened leadership, inclined to innovation and change.
Now a new project is being launched: 3 editions simultaneously, reserved for the top or managerial levels of the Group, with the main objective of enhancing Danieli's organizational capacity. The project integrates and interprets the thematic areas identified by the client as priorities: competitive advantage, project handling, procurement, income statement and team management.

Dynamic capabilities are broken down into three basic skills:
This logical structure is the basis from which the Executive Education Team of MIB Trieste worked to give the path a clear and strong logical sequence of contents, aimed at building the three macro-skills necessary for Danieli top managers to maximize their contribution to design of the group's future in the coming years.
- Strategic vision: "sensing", to read the context, understand the opportunities it offers and evaluate their economic impact;
- Operational vision: “shaping”, to shape opportunities by designing organizational and operational processes;
- Managerial vision: “seizing”, to transform the organizational and operations project into real action, leveraging the team and the decision-making process.

The dynamic context and the constant drive to improve made us reflect on what is really important for Danieli: cutting-edge technical skills combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to achieving results. The goal is to improve competitiveness through flexibility, speed and simplicity in processes. MIB has been able to grasp these needs and translate our development objectives into concrete activities.
