MIB, part of a growing Innovation wave
MIB Trieste School of Management is one of the Partners of Urban Center, the new incubator of research and innovation activities in the heart of Trieste.
Inaugurated in March 2021, the new space aims to combine Trieste's scientific vocation with the economy and businesses, with particular attention to the Innovation and Bio-HighTech sectors.
The project was born from the initiative of Bio4Dreams, leader of the Temporary Grouping of Companies (RTI) composed of Biovalley Investments, Polo Tecnologico Alto Adriatico and RnBGate, which then was able to involve almost 40 partners, eager to create synergy and shape new projects of research and entrepreneurship, with a territorial and international scope.
The Business Urban Center was conceived as a ground for the development of innovative entrepreneurship in the HighTech, BioHighTech - in particular biotechnology, biomedical and bioinformatics - and health sectors. This process aims to extend to the entire urban context by actively involving citizens: spaces open to all have also been provided, capable of stimulating knowledge, dialogue, exchange and contamination of cultures.
The contribution that MIB Trieste School of Management intends to pursue focuses above all on managerial skills in support of a technical-scientific world that normally speaks a different language, in addition to sharing the several best practices that are part of the School's expertise, on the subject of entrepreneurship and strategies for start-ups in the Innovation/HiTech field.
