Pursuant to art. 13 EU Regulation n. 2016/679 (hereinafter, "GDPR") we inform you that your data will be processed in the following manner and for the following purposes:
 
1. What data is being processed
The data controller processes any personal identification data (for example, name, surname, company name, address, telephone, e-mail, bank and payment details - hereinafter, "personal data" or simply "data") that you have provided.
 
2. Purpose of data processing
Personal data, provided directly by the data subject and/or collected through the filling out of hard-copy  forms and/or electronic forms available on the website managed by Consorzio Mib Trieste School of Management (hereinafter ‘the School’), are processed by the School for its own purposes and, in particular, to provide the services requested by the user or any other service available on the internet portal managed by the School, as well as for related administrative and accounting purposes.
 
3. Legal basis of data processing
Processing shall be lawful only if and to the extent that at least one of the following applies:
  1. the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes;
  2. processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;
  3. processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject.
 
4. Methods and duration of data processing
The data collected through the compilation of online forms are processed electronically and through management information systems. These data can be processed in aggregate form for statistical purposes and to monitor the quality standards of the services offered, excluding in this case the processing of personal identification data.

The processing of your personal data is carried out by means of the operations defined in art. 4 n. (2) of the GDPR and more precisely: collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction of data. Your personal data are subject to both paper and electronic/automated processing.

The data controller will process personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes; the data will then be kept for historical purposes.
 
5. Access to data and data communication
Your data may:
- be known to employees and collaborators of the data controller, in their capacity as persons in charge and/or system administrators;
- be communicated to third-party companies or other subjects (by way of example: credit institutions, professional firms, consultants, insurance companies for the provision of insurance services, etc.) who carry out outsourced activities on behalf of the controller, in their capacity as external processors;
- be used for any future information.
 
6. Transfer of personal data
Personal data is stored on servers located within the European Union. In any case, it is understood that the data controller, if necessary, will have the right to move the servers even outside the EU. In this case, the data controller hereby ensures that the transfer of data outside the EU will take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, subject to the drawing up of the standard contractual clauses provided by the European Commission.
 
7. Nature of data provision and consequences of refusing to answer
The provision of the requested data is necessary for the smooth running of the School’s own activity and for the effective management and provision of the services connected to it. The provision of data in the fields marked with an asterisk ("*") is mandatory to allow the conclusion of the contract or for the provision of the services requested.
 
8. Rights of the data subject
The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing. Moreover, the data subject shall have the right to object to processing of personal data. Where personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, the data subject shall have the right to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning him or her for such marketing and the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing. Furthermore, the data subject shall have the right to data portability, to withdrawal of consent at any time - without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal – and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
 
 9. How to exercise the rights of the data subject
