WILL THE MASTERS START IN AUTUMN 2020?

Yes.

The School has been organized to ensure the start of all Masters in Autumn 2020 and the safety of all students.
The June 3, 2020 Decree of the President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region allows the re-opening of classroom lessons and our students can return to School.
Of course, our headquarters guarantees the minimum safe distance (at least 1 meter) between persons inside the classrooms, in the common areas, and in the café.
Step by step back to normal.

WHAT PRECAUTIONS IS THE SCHOOL TAKING?

The School is following all the guidelines of the Italian Government and of the World Health Organization.
Periodic sanitization of the rooms is being carried out; disinfectant gels are available in all areas; a thermo-scanner will be installed at the entrance.
In addition to this, all rooms and classrooms are being reorganized to guarantee safe physical distancing for all students, staff, and teachers.

CAN THE VENUE AND CLASSROOMS GUARANTEE INTERPERSONAL DISTANCE?

Yes, we have reorganized all our spaces.

The headquarters of the School, the wonderful Ferdinand Palace with the large Multifunctional Pavilion within the Farneto Park, guarantees very spacious internal areas, which have been reorganized to guarantee the minimum safe distance between persons inside the classrooms, in the common areas, and in the café.
Transparent Plexiglas barriers are being placed in particularly sensitive positions and the periodic sanitization of the premises is being implemented as per legal guidelines.
In case conditions require it, diversified schedules for the different Masters will be evaluated to avoid school overcrowding.
We will ensure your safety!

IF WE CANNOT GET BACK TO THE CLASSROOM IMMEDIATELY, WILL THE MASTERS START? HOW WILL THEY PROCEED?

The Masters will commence in remote mode, as we await a return to the classroom.

In this case, the initial part of the Masters will be done with remote smart learning, until it is possible to return to the classroom safely. At that moment we will no doubt resume teaching in class.
There may also be a mixed formula, in which small groups can go to the School for in class teaching, while others will work on request.
However, you can work in groups and share a very intense experience even doing some activities at a distance, with the right mix of technology and participatory teaching.
The School has an advanced digital system for distance teaching.
This has allowed us, for over 15 years, to also work in distance mode for large corporate clients: Allianz, Generali, Intesa Sanpaolo, Fincantieri, Knauf, and many others. Web conferencing
systems, collaborative classroom virtualization tools, digital whiteboards and chromakey video, allow us to carry out exercises together and manage case discussions and team projects, separated into virtual rooms.

CAN I RETIRE AND RECEIVE A FULL REFUND BEFORE THE MASTER START?

Yes, of course.

You can withdraw and leave at any time (until the start of the Master), with a full refund of what was advanced, if one of these conditions apply:
- Delayed start date of the Master
- Courses are carried out completely in distance learning
- Restrictions on personal mobility (if you cannot reach Trieste)

THE MASTER WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE CLASSROOM BUT I CANNOT REACH THE SCHOOL IN TIME, CAN I START THE MASTER FROM A DISTANCE?

Yes.

If obvious difficulties (health, visa delays, travel bans in some countries, etc.) prevent you from reaching the School on time, you can start the Masters program remotely until you can reach your classmates. With personalized tutoring sessions, and with the assistance of the Program Manager, you will not miss out on any of the value of your Master.

INTO HOW MANY INSTALLMENTS CAN I SPLIT THE PAYMENT?

Normally there are 3 installments but, given the very particular situation and in case of necessity, a personalized installment plan can be defined at the time of admission to the classroom.

WILL THERE BE SCHOLARSHIPS THIS YEAR AS WELL?

Certainly.

Precisely because of the situation, and to facilitate the participation of deserving students, the School will be able to award more substantial Scholarships this year. The disbursement and the extent of the Scholarships is in any case linked to the outcome of the admission path, the CV, the path of university studies and other merit criteria.

HAS THE ADMISSION PROCESS CHANGED?

No, the admission process remains the same and will be carried out online.

HOW WILL I CONDUCT TESTS AND ADMISSION INTERVIEWS?

Online.

At this time, you will carry out all selection tests off campus, both the tests and the interview.
The interview will be held in a video conference and will be an important moment for mutual acquaintance and remember that your personal motivation is just as important as your skills.

The Decree of the President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region of the 3rd of June, 2020 allows the re-opening of classroom lessons and our students and candidates can return to School. So you can also carry out your tests in campus in Trieste.

WHAT WILL I HAVE TO DO IF I CAN'T GET THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS IN TIME?

No problem.

The documents that will be requested from you (graduation certificate, list of exams taken, reference letters, etc.) may be sent along a more flexible timeline, depending on your ability to obtain them. In the meantime, if you have them available, you can send us unofficial copies or fill in self-certifications.
The original documents must however be delivered before the start of the Master.

DIPLOMATIC OFFICES ARE CLOSED. HOW DO I GET A VISA?

If you are admitted to the classroom, MIB Trieste will work with you to try to resolve your situation. If you are unable to attend the program due to a visa problem, you can:
- if there is only a delay in the visa, you can start following the Master at a distance and then join your classmates
- if the visa problem will completely prevent you from attending, you can get a refund of the fees paid or keep the enrollment valid for the next year (in this last case any Scholarships can be reconsidered).
