PhD Scholarship in Circular Economy
The School is pleased to signal a NRRP Scholarship co-financed by DEAMS (Dept. of Economics, University of Trieste) with funds of MIB Trieste School of Management DM 630/2024
Project title: “Evolution of business models and ESG factors in the corporate transition to the paradigms of sustainability and circularity.”
CUP: J92B24001070005
Principal investigator: Prof. Andrea Tracogna
Mandatory financed study/research abroad: 6 months
The PhD program in Circular Economy UniTS (CE.TS) is a three-year doctoral course, entirely in English. It aims to create experts who contribute to the advancement of knowledge in various sectors and disciplinary areas through the correct use of economic-social research methodologies. These sectors and disciplinary areas are united by a common denominator: the Circular Economy paradigm.
The PhD program is organized into three curricula: an economic curriculum (Economics & Circular Economy), a business curriculum (Circular Business Models), and a statistical-actuarial curriculum (Statistical and Quantitative Methods for Sustainability and Risk Assessment).
The CE.TS PhD program was created with a particularly innovative educational structure and a strong openness to relevant local stakeholders (companies, public and associative entities, research centers) from which it seeks support through the awarding of PhD scholarships (including industrial ones) and with which it aims to establish mutually satisfactory long-term relationships.
The CE.TS PhD program positions itself as an open and international doctorate: in language, faculty, teaching staff, and participants.
