Corporate Education for Marsh
Passing of the baton for the Corporate Master in Finance & Risk Management
The first edition of the Corporate Master in Finance & Risk Management is coming to an end, a high management training project created by the School for Marsh Spa, a global leader in insurance brokerage and risk consultancy.
With over 150 years of history, Marsh is a multinational present in 130 countries worldwide, with a team that includes 40,000 consultants.
Marsh selected our Business School 3 years ago to start an ad hoc training project, lasting 24 months with a weekend formula, to develop technical skills and managerial skills, favoring the improvement of the performance of Marsh employees, characterized by different backgrounds. The Master curriculum includes a broad focus on risk management and its integration into corporate strategy: from the most classic topics for the sector such as finance, budget, control, risk management, insurance, and re-insurance, to different managerial perspectives such as strategic management, organization, and HR, customer value marketing, business ethics, leadership.
The presentations of the final projects will be held in Milan; the formal conclusion with the delivery of the Diplomas is expected, behind closed doors, on 21st January at Palazzo Ferdinandeo, headquarters of MIB Trieste. Twenty-eight participants will receive the diploma, with a valuable 57% female presence and a working average of about six years.
At the same time, on 20th January, the second edition of the Master will start in Trieste, with 35 participants, which will then see them continue for classroom weekends at the Marsh headquarters in Milan.
