A community has the right to be called such if it is given a concrete meaning, when its elements tighten and help even and above all in hard times.
Since finding meaning to what is happening is so complex, we prefer to focus on what we can do as a MIB community for our Ukrainian Alumni, their families, their loved ones, and their people.

FUND-RAISING
- The Community of Sant’Egidio, also at its headquarters in Trieste, is doing its utmost to welcome the first refugees arriving in our region, and at the same time to send support to Kyiv for the long-distance adoptions of children at the local family homes.

REASON: Aid to Ukraine - The ADRA International Association, active in 40 countries around the world and Ukraine since 2014, has dedicated a project for the emergency in the country.

COLLECTION OF GOODS
We are also collaborating with both associations in the collection of foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, and necessities, which will then be sent to the borders of Ukraine with convoys departing from Trieste.
It is possible to bring your contribution in material goods directly here at MIB Trieste School of Management - Ferdinandeo Palace, until 31 March (we cannot accept direct cash donations).
The Reception is open from Monday to Saturday from 8.30 am to 8:00 pm.
In particular, they pointed out the need to:
- Food: Long-life ready meals, preserves, pasta, cereals, bars, packaged bread and rolls, flours, biscuits, dry yeast, green tea, water
- For babies: bottles, diapers, baby food, baby creams (like Fissan)
- Hygiene: paper napkins/paper towels, wet wipes, absorbents and pads for women, sanitizers, shampoos, toothpaste
- Pharmacy: Bandages, analgesics, hemostats, tourniquets, iodine, cotton wool, plasters. Ready-made first aid kits.
- Other products: Mattresses, as well as helmets and knee pads to be sent to war zones
