MIRM Students from 9 countries graduating in the Ceremony

Video Speech by Frédéric de Courtois, General Manager of Generali Group

The 2019 Master in Insurance & Risk Management Graduation Ceremony will take place on Friday, October 25 at 3.00 pm in Trieste.

Students of the MIRM class of 2019 from 9 countries will celebrate their Degrees.
Frédéric de Courtois, General Manager of Generali Group, will deliver the keynote speech (video speech).
There will be speeches by the Dean of the School, Vladimir Nanut, and by the Directors of the MIRM programme, Ermanno Pitacco and Federica Seganti, among others.

MIRM students will celebrate their achievement with their families and friends, who will be welcomed at MIB premises in this very special event.

Keynote Speaker

Frédéric de Courtois General Manager Generali Group Frédéric de Courtois joined Generali in 2016 as CEO Global Business Lines & International.   He is a graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Paris and Institut des Actuaires and the Collège des Ingenieurs in Engineering and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Management. He began his career with CGI Informatique in 1990, before moving to UAP in 1993, which was later merged with AXA in 1996, working within the Finance Department before moving to the Group Controlling Department in 1997. In 2000/01, he became Vice President of AXA Conseil, a sales channel with 1500 employees and coordinated cross-functional projects. He was later, in 2001, to become Deputy CEO of AXA Re, an Axa company dedicated to Reinsurance and Capital Risk, heading the Finance, Legal and Claims areas.    In 2003, Frédéric became Chief Financial Officer for AXA Japan before becoming Deputy Chief Executive Officer of AXA Life Japan, with responsibility for Finance, Marketing and Offer. He was appointed Chief Executive officer of AXA Japan & Asia Pacific P&C, in 2006. In 2007, Frédéric returned to Europe where he became AXA MPS Assicurazioni Vita CEO and Chairman of AXA MPS Financial. He was to become Chief Executive Officer for AXA Assicurazioni in July 2013 and later assumed responsibility for their Greek and Serbian markets. He also held the position of board member in AXA Life and Savings board and sponsored AXA’s global business savings and Bancassurance channel. In September 2016 he joined the Generali Group as Chief Executive Officer of Global Business Lines & International which includes responsibility for the Global Business Lines (Europ Assistance, Generali Employee Benefits, Global Corporate & Commercial, Generali Global Health), for Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Guersney, Dubai, Belgium, Netherlands, Asia, Americas & Southern Europe as well as for Bancassurance & Generali Vitality.
