MIB Trieste School of Management

New Executive MBA in Business Innovation starts today

Hybrid training for an innovative project

EMBAIN 1 Hybrid
THE FIRST EDITION OF THE MBA IN BUSINESS INNOVATION STARTS WITH HYBRID TRAINING.

A new project by MIB Trieste in collaboration with Venture Factory, Galileo Visionary District, McKinsey Digital Capability Center and The European House - Ambrosetti.

The first edition of the Executive MBA in Business Innovation, the new MBA of MIB Trieste School of Management, is at the starting line; the new project is designed to integrate science, technology and management skills for business innovation.
It is the only specialized MBA in Italy with a focus on these topics and the only one accredited by the Association of MBAs, the official international certification body for MBAs.

The classroom is made up of over 30 participants: entrepreneurs, consultants, managers of innovative companies, and a significant number of researchers, who have developed innovative technologies with high market potential (Deep Tech).
The researches have been identified and financed by Venture Factory, the most important Italian pre-seed Fund and partner of the School, which raised 40 million Euro in the first round and invested them directly in these Proof of Concepts, to transform them into start-ups by the end of the EMBAIN program.

The kickoff week starts in Trieste at the headquarters of the School, in a fully equipped "Hybrid" classroom that allows the interaction between participants in presence and online.
The new Hybrid integrated system will allow on-campus sessions, which will be attended synchronously by participants online, ensuring a perfect interaction between trainers, classroom and on-distance participants, who fully live their MBA experience even from distance.

“Safety” is the watchword for those who have chosen to attend the MBA in the on-campus classes: the spaces of the School have been entirely rationalized to ensure social distancing and have equipped with all the devices for control of accesses, temperature measurement and sanitization.

As has already happened for all the other Master Programs of the School starting in 2020, even in this pandemic situation, this new MBA reached the maximum number of participants and had to close in advance the enrollment, also to respect the anti-Covid protocols for distancing in the classroom.

“The desire for training in recent months seems to have grown, people seem to have found the incentives to invest in their own growth in this very difficult situation” - explains the MBA Director, Francesco Venier. "There was not even fear of mobility: people, perhaps also due to the long lockdown, manifested a strong desire to live the experience in presence, a strong desire for social contacts, for sharing and for dialogue in the classroom" .

In the coming months, for those who choose the in-class training, the lessons will take place in Milan (formula weekend) and will combine a solid General Management program with a fluid Business Innovation edge, that explores the deep tech driven business innovation challenges: from big data to artificial intelligence, from robotics to open innovation platforms, from design thinking to lean transformation.
The Innovation fringe will put participants in touch with some state of the art technologies directly into some of the most prestigious innovation centers in Italy, thanks to the partnership with Venture Factory, Galileo Visionary District, McKinsey Digital Capability Center and The European House - Ambrosetti.
