AI & Management: Closing the Gap
Online session
Thursday, Oct. 5, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
How should management approach Artificial Intelligence? Is the gap still so significant? How to bridge it?
An in-depth session will guide us through these issues, under the guidance of Guido Sanguinetti, a member of the School's Visiting Faculty in Data-Driven Management and director of the Machine Learning and Systems Biology Group at SISSA in Trieste, and Andrea Ampò, a member of the MIB Core Faculty in Marketing & Strategy.
The session is organized and offered by our School on the occasion of the ASFOR Master Day, organized by the Italian Association for Managerial Training, which certifies the best postgraduate Master's degrees in Italy.
The session will be divided into two parts:
- The session AI & Management: Closing the Gap
There is a knowledge gap between AI and business management. This gap can prevent companies from fully exploiting the potential of AI. Problems in implementing AI solutions are often business problems, not technical problems. Business insights need to be built in the implementation of the algorithms, both to ensure that the solutions offer value for companies and customers and to avoid ethical or reputational pitfalls. - MIB Trieste School of Management
Presentation session and Q&A on the educational offerings of MIB Trieste School of Management.
