MIB Trieste School of Management is pleased to host the 23rd ASFOR Day on Managerial Education, a national landmark event for the world of advanced management training.
The day will be dedicated to the theme: “Sustainability and ESG Dimensions (Environment, Society, Governance): Strategic Perspectives for Companies and Business Schools”, featuring prominent figures from both the academic and business communities in Italy.
Following the institutional welcome by Vladimir Nanut, CEO of MIB Trieste, and Marco Vergeat, President of ASFOR, the morning will be structured around three main sessions:

• Opening speech by Prof. Andrea Tracogna (Dean, MIB Trieste), offering a reflection on the concept of corporate purpose and the convergence between economic value and social impact.
• Round table discussion, moderated by Prof. Francesco Venier (Dean of Executive Education, MIB Trieste), featuring top executives from leading Italian companies – Gruppo Danieli, Gruppo Hera, and illycaffè – on the strategic role of sustainability and the educational challenges tied to ESG topics.
• Presentation of the ASFOR Award for Excellence 2025 to Cristiano Borean, CFO of the Generali Group and Chairman of MIB Trieste, who will engage in a dialogue with Marco Vergeat (President of ASFOR) on leadership and sustainability.

The ASFOR Day is part of a two-day program:
on June 19, participants will be welcomed to Trieste with a geopolitical seminar and a networking evening at the Adriaco Yacht Club.
