Last week our School had the pleasure to host MBA participants from the Crummer Graduate School of Business - Rollins College, as part of our Exchange Study Programs.
Their arrival marked a significant learning experience with our community, as they joined forces with four of our MBA in International Business participants for a challenging and collaborative week.
Under the guidance of Professor Guido Bortoluzzi (Marketing & Strategy), both MBA groups were challenged to develop a strategic global business project for a renowned Italian company: L&S Lighting Intelligence – a global leader in technical lighting systems for home décor and interior design, present in over 50 countries.
Their experience during this week was truly immersive, as they visited the company on-site, allowing them to delve into their real-world business operations and explore their strategies, competitive advantages, and innovation drivers.
Armed with insights and a wealth of cross-cultural collaboration, the participants culminated this dynamic week with the project's first presentation. Their initial proposal highlighted strategic thinking and innovation that emerged from their joint efforts.
The collaboration with the U.S. Business School has now reached its eighteenth edition and, for many years, has offered reciprocal exchange opportunities, allowing MIB Trieste students to undertake study periods in the United States.
