Orgini 20 participants finally find themselves in the classroom
This week MIB Trieste School of Management welcomes the 18 participants of the 2020 edition of the “Origini” Course, the program dedicated to the descendants of Italian emigrants around the world.
MIB Trieste School of Management has created the Origini Italia Project to take advantage of the great resource represented by the communities of Italian emigrants around the globe, strengthening the professional and cultural ties between descendants and the land of origin and promoting collaboration between Italian companies and citizens of Italian origin around the world.
The course includes training sessions centred on the themes of entrepreneurship, international business and export management and 3 months of company internships.
The 2020 edition started online due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic: participants arrive in Trieste after following the entire first phase of the online program from their respective countries.
Having arrived in Italy over the previous weeks, they carried out the scheduled quarantine, and today they finally find themselves in the classroom, in attendance.
10 countries are represented: Brazil, Argentina, El Salvador, Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Guatemala, Peru, South Africa and the USA.
The program, after 7 months of online sessions - one day a week - now includes a classroom phase, with company visits and thematic workshops, that will end on the 27th of August; following this, the participants will carry out company internships.
The Course will close on the 30th of November with the Diploma Ceremony.
The “Origini” project is supported by the ICE Agency and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and enjoys the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
