Bernardo Bernardini "finally running”

From the crash with the ultralight and spinal injury to the cycle races.
His extraordinary story and extraordinary message of hope.
 

Bernardo is one of our MBA Executive alumni; at the age of 19, he was almost paralyzed by a spinal injury, leaving him in a wheelchair with little hope of recovery.
But his is an extraordinary story of willpower, which, with years of sacrifice, sees him out of the wheelchair, walking, and today with the help of special leg braces, running.
From running, to the triathlon, to cycling: renewing goals to bring messages of hope and courage to everyone, with a constant commitment to initiatives containing powerful disability awareness.

2020 Project: Road to Rome.
The School is in support of the project.

The initial goal of Bernardo's new project was to cycle the 1200 km from Treviso to the European Parliament in Brussels.
The Covid situation, however, has forced a change of itinerary and Bernardo will cycle from Treviso to Rome, touching some very significant stages: Vò Euganeo, Cesenatico (the land of Pantani), Assisi and Rome.
The start is scheduled for Saturday, the 12th of September.

MIB Trieste School of Management is a partner in the Project and supports Bernardo in this initiative of great significance.
The School even invites the entire Alumni community to virtually join his journey, following him on the Garming Connect app ("Bernardo finally racing") as well as on his social channels.
Naturally, there will also be the opportunity to accompany him, sharing a stretch of road and doing a few kilometers of pedaling with him.
