The entire world is shocked by a pandemic that seems irrepressible. The Coronavirus has revolutionized the lives of billions of people in almost every country on the planet causing a major slowdown – or shutdown – of production and commercial processes in all sectors related to goods and services, which economic globalization is based on.
The international community is waiting with bated breath for the end of this emergency.
What will be the situation "the day after"? Will the need for health security logically lead to nationalized political and even economic administrations?
Will the major themes of sustainable development, free trade and financial transactions undergo changes and alter globalization as it stood up until the beginning of 2020?
Will the logic of global economic integration make room for a
return to national fragmentation?
Stefano Pilotto, core Faculty member of MIB Trieste School of Management in International Relations and International Political Analysis, will be speaking live to outline possible post-pandemic political and economic scenarios.
