University Collaboration
The University of Trieste, the University of Udine and SISSA – International School of Advanced Studies are among the members of the MIB Consortium and some of the most consolidated partners for training and research activities.
Several MIB faculty members are affiliated with the Universities and conduct research there and within the School.
These academic institutions collaborate with MIB Trieste by joining training courses and events delivered to the business community and the student body.

University of Trieste
The University of Trieste is an Italian state university founded in 1924 as the Regia Università degli Studi Economici e Commerciali.
Today it has more than seventeen thousand students, over seven hundred teachers and researchers, and over six hundred technicians and administrative staff. It has ten departments.
The agreement between the University of Trieste and MIB Trieste School of Management aims to carry out joint training and research activities in the economic-business field to enhance the expertise of both institutions.
The collaboration includes the integration of the Master in Insurance & Risk Management and the MBA in International Business into the University's educational offerings: these two Masters are Double Degree programs between MIB and the University of Trieste.

SISSA – International School of Advanced Studies
MIB Trieste School of Management has a long-established collaboration with SISSA – International School of Advanced Studies, a scientific center of excellence at both the national and international level.
The School’s activities focus on three main areas: physics, mathematics and neurosciences. On top of these, there are also the initiatives of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory, dedicated to the relationship between science and society. The further education focuses on 12 PhD programmes and some post-graduate courses (Master’s). 35% of doctoral students and 50% of post-doctoral researchers at the school are from abroad.
