MIB’s historic and prestigious premises offer cutting edge facilities and its new pavilion is a model of technology and sustainable architecture. The campus is situated in a large park in the heart of Trieste: a city which is enchanting, with a very high quality of life and is also an international centre for scientific research.
The Hapsburg Palace
The premises of the MIB Trieste School of Management are located
in one of the most prestigious historical buildings in Trieste.
Palazzo Ferdinandeo was built within the Parco del Farneto in
1858, in honour of the Emperor Ferdinand I von Hapsburg.
This sumptuous imperial palace was completely renovated and re-structured to host:
- 6 classrooms (seating between 15 and 60)
- 1 conference hall (seating 200)
- 2 libraries
- 2 reading rooms
- 1 computer room
- 1 bar-cafeteria
- 1 self-service restaurant
- 1 student lounge
- rooms for related service and facilities (cash point, copy service, etc…)
The best social & learning technologies have been installed, including: full Wi-Fi coverage, e-learning platforms, simultaneous interpreting facilities, internal video streaming system, etc.
The new Pavilion
The growing number of programmes offered by the School necessitated an enlargement of our historical location at Palazzo Ferdinandeo. A new Pavilion was built in 2010 next to the 19th century building, offering two more classrooms (with 50 and 60 seats) and a large multi-purpose Hall.
