Six participants from the Rollins College, a prestigious American business school, joined the MBA in International Business students at MIB Trieste School of Management, for the Exchange program involving a partnership between the two institutions, with exchanges of students during the academic year.
Weekly program has developed into a busy schedule: training sessions, group work focused on "New Product Development" course, a company visit at Electrolux in Pordenone. Here the court has met, among others, Ms. Giulia Sartorello - Human Resources - and Mr. Alberto Marangon - Business Intelligence and Consumer Insight Manager - and visited the showroom and the factory production of professional appliances.
Who are the participants arrived from America? From a shortlist of candidates interested in developing a consultancy project in Italy, the 6 selected play really different professional roles: Patty is a biomedical engineer, Violet is engaged in the arts filed, Morgan deals with sociology, Nicole with finance, Yuri and Marcus have an economic background.
Something they shared during their Italian trip, next to the inspiring learning experience of course, was the passion for our kitchen: they interviewed the team in charge for the catering and cafeteria at MIB, to steal some secrets to take with them.
"Some of our students just started for an exchange program as well" says Victoria Plez, Program Manager of the MBA in International Business MIB. "Giorgio Pignalosa, Italian engineer, will spend three months at Rollins College in Florida, while the Uruguayan Ginny Ferraz, analyst covering control and audit, is living an experience at Lingnan College, in the Guangzhou region - China. As for shorter exchanges, other 3 MBA participants - two Argentines and one Canadian - they have just left for Bordeaux, where they will spend a week focused on Digital Marketing."
In the second week of May the School will host 72 students from EADA Barcelona business school, who will enjoy some days of training sessions and networking, together with the participants of the International Full-time Master programs of MIB Trieste.
